summer | MISSIONS: Jamaica



On June 26, 20 rbcstudents and rbcparents will embark on a mission trip to Jamaica. If you wish to be involved, please consider donating an item or items from the list below. All donations are due June 15 and can be left with our receptionists or brought to Jessica Stone's office, #100A. For more information, please contact Jessica at 417.885.5275

TOOLS
(Please only bring quality, name brand tools, the cheaper tools will not hold up. It would be better to bring 1 good tool rather than several cheap ones. No power tools are currently needed.)
Heavy duty brick trowels, paint brushes, paint rollers, Framing hammers, handsaws, 25 foot tape measures, heavy electrical cords, drill bits, 7.5” saw blades, small bolt cutters, screw bits

SCHOOL SUPPLIES
backpacks, hard black composition books, notebooks, pencils, pens, markers, school glue, rulers, scissors, tape, construction paper

SHOES
any shoes, work boots, adult soccer shoes, black school shoes, children’s shoes

TOILETRIES
baby powder, shampoo, lotions, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, adult diapers, baby lotion and soap

MEDICINES
adult and children's cold medicine, Tylenol or any brand, high, anti-fungus cream, pin worm medicine, vitamins, antibiotics, gauze, Band-Aids, antibiotic creams, bandages, ointments, muscle rub, cough syrup, first aid kits, adult and children’s vitamins

HOUSEWARES
All sizes of bed sheets, pillowcases, towels and small washcloths, sewing machines in good working order, material, hard plastic plates and bowls, silverware, any pots and pans, sharp knives, dish towels

CLOTHES
any clean, mended clothes, children clothes, new underwear, new socks, infant clothes, men’s pants, adult clothes (Jamaica is a tropical climate, so do not pack winter clothes), any type of soccer gear – especially adult-sized soccer equipment

MISCELLANEOUS
AAA, AA, C and D size batteries, watches, radios of any kind, toys, padlocks, hats, jewelry (necklaces, earrings, etc.), soccer balls (no footballs or baseballs), extra flashlights; and batteries
